Prince
Prince is an almost one year old Husky, about 26 kg, and quite possibly the fluffiest mini polar bear you’ll ever meet.
When Prince first arrived in our care from Northern Reach Network in Thunder Bay (originally from Sandy Lake First Nation), we noticed a small healing scab on his side. During grooming, that scab fell away — revealing a BB pellet his body had been slowly pushing out.
Sadly, this isn’t something new for rescue dogs. But what is remarkable is Prince himself..sweet, forgiving, and still so full of love.
Typical husky? Absolutely.
He talks to you, romps in the snow, seeks out cool spots in the house, and wants to be wherever his people are.

Prince is:
Great with other dogs
Good with cats
Wonderful with kids
Good for grooming

Affectionate, playful, and eager to be part of family life
He isn’t a fan of crates, but does very well when given a safe penned area (a kitchen or gated space works great). He enjoys walks, playtime, and being included in everyday life.

Prince will need a home that understands the husky breed! Someone active, outdoorsy, and committed to regular grooming to keep that beautiful coat healthy and mat-free. He’d thrive with a family who loves adventure, winter days outside, or even another husky buddy.

Despite everything he’s been through, Prince remains gentle, loving, and ready to give his whole heart to a family of his own.

If you’ve been looking for a loyal, fluffy adventure partner, Prince might be your guy!!
