Marigold

Meet Marigold, a sweet gray-brown tabby with a big heart and a petite frame, weighing in at just around 3.5 kilos. She is another one of the ten animals who joined our rescue through the Northern Reach Network after being affected by the devastating Northern Ontario wildfires.

Marigold has left her days of living outside far behind her, and she is thoroughly enjoying every single luxury of indoor life!

This affectionate, social young adult is a complete joy to have around. She loves hanging out right by her foster parents, cuddling up on the couch, and keeping tabs on the world from high perches and sunny windows. Don't let her cozy side fool you, though—Marigold has a wonderfully fun, playful personality. She adores her scratching post, loves her toys, and even plays fetch like a total natural! Add in a healthy appetite for her food and treats, and she is truly the whole package.

Marigold is getting spayed early this week(August 25th), and once she receives her second round of vaccine boosters, she will be officially ready to head to a home of her own.

She briefly met a small dog in her foster environment and wasn't a huge fan right off the bat, but with a patient, gradual introduction, we think she could adjust over time. While she hasn't been tested with other cats yet, her young age makes a proper cat intro worth exploring.
