Meet Tulip – A Shy Flower Who’s Learning to Bloom

​

Tulip is a 2 year old Boston Terrier who has been slowly but surely finding her courage in her foster home. When she first arrived, she was timid and unsure of her surroundings, but with patience, love, and the help of her foster dog friends, Tulip has started to blossom into a playful, affectionate little companion.

She’s had some big breakthroughs lately — following the other dogs outside, exploring new rooms in the house, playing tug of war and zoomies with the younger pups, and even joining the couch to nap and snuggle with her people. Once Tulip sees another dog being loved on, she’s quick to trot over and ask for attention too.

Tulip can still be shy and reserved in new situations. She was nervous at a recent family gathering, barking a little when new people approached, but she handled it far better than she would have just a few weeks ago. She truly thrives with patience and reassurance, and once she trusts you, she becomes a loyal little shadow. In her foster home, she’s chosen one daughter as her “emotional support human” and follows her everywhere — it’s the sweetest bond.

Good with other dogs and loves having a playful buddy. We would prefer there to be another dog in her new home.

Sleeps well in her crate (she’ll even put herself to bed!)

Loves toys (better she destroys those than the furniture!)

Tulip is fully vetted, spayed, and ready to keep growing her confidence in a forever home. With time, love, and understanding, she’ll reward her family with endless loyalty and affection.
