Maple

Meet Maple, a stunning 8 week old female puppy who is officially ready to start searching for her forever family. You might remember her along with her sister Aurora and their sweet mama, Stella, who were brought into care last month after being displaced by the Northern Ontario wildfires. After four weeks of dedicated love and care, Mama Stella has officially retired from motherhood, and these two sweet girls are ready for their next chapter!

Maple is the slightly larger, calmer sister of the pair. She’s a sweet, submissive girl who happens to be a huge fan of her meals! Maple is adventurous and loves playtime, but she likes to pause and inspect new things before jumping in. Between her big floppy ears, fluffy coat, and soulful puppy eyes, this little cuddle bug will melt your heart in seconds.

Both girls are getting a fantastic start in life. They’ve been raised around kids, other dogs, and kittens and have even met chickens and ducks! They are doing great with crate training, enjoy car rides, and are already sleeping straight through the night (a massive puppy win!). Being young pups, they are still actively working on their potty training, which just takes frequent, routine breaks outside. They are also working on solo outings to build their confidence as independent pups, as they are available for adoption separately.

Maple is currently fostered in Woodstock, ON, and is available through our Foster-to-Adopt program. She has received her first vaccines, deworming and microchipping, and will join her new home as fosters first while Safe Paws finishes updating their vetting.

Adoption fee: $800 (includes all of their vetting + spay)
