Last weekend, we came across a post in a local rehoming group about five soaking wet kittens found huddled together beside a deceased sibling in the rain, crying for a mama who wasn't there. Our founder jumped straight into action and arrived at the farm within a couple of hours to retrieve the babies from a wonderful family who needed our help getting them to safety.

We brought all five kittens into care immediately. They were only about four weeks old when they arrived, and now at five weeks, they are shaping up to be the sweetest, most loving little babies imaginable. Three boys and two girls. They’ve already started eating wet kitten food on their own, learning how to use the litter box, and showing off their big personalities. Our founder just transferred them over to their official foster home, which was ridiculously hard to do because they are just so perfect!

Despite their rough start, all five appear to be in surprisingly great health, just a little skinny. We set a trap at the farm to secure their mama, and while we’ve been working closely with the family for over a week, we unfortunately haven't had any luck trapping her yet, let alone even seeing her. We aren't giving up hope and will keep trying!

As for these five sweethearts, they will need a bit more time to grow, eat, and get their initial vetting completed before they start meeting prospective families. They will be officially ready to head to foster-to-adopt homes in about a month.
